Door Cores

Several Door Cores are widely welcomed all around the world. Popular among them are Particle Board, Tubular Board and Paper Honey Comb. These cores have better properties like sound insulation, fire resistant, impact resistance compared to the conventional solid core.

TUBULAR BOARD CORE

These doors are popular because their stability and durability makes them exceptional for all general purposes.

HONEYCOMB CORE

Honeycomb Core doors are light weight internal doors and are useful for residential and office purposes mostly on high rise structures.

TIMBER CORE

These are most conventional door cores that have solid wood as filler. They are heavy and are suitable for outdoor applications.

Instructions for Stacking/ Painting / Staining

  • Doors must be stored on a flat and dry surface
  • Doors must not be exposed to direct sunlight, rain or water
  • Doors can be trimmed up to 10 mm on all sides
  • Mild or fine sand paper can help wipe the surface clean
  • For painting, usage of normal acrylic, like latex paints or alkyl based enamel paints are recommended.
    Alternatively for staining,the use of acrylic like latex primer can add the stain close to its final coat
  • Allow 8 to 10 hours after the first coat of paint / stain
  • Coat with PVC based stain. Repeat one or two coats till the final desired result is achieved
